Moshe is a postdoctoral associate at the Entomology department at Cornell University, working in Jennifer Thaler’s lab. He is also a Zuckerman and Vaadia-Bard postdoc fellow, studying the tri-trophic interactions between plants, herbivores, and predators and how prey’s anti-predatory responses can be utilized to bio-control pest management. He has a B.Sc in Biology and Environmental Science and an M.Sc. in Ecology from the Hebrew University, where he also received his Ph.D. studying how arthropods assess and respond to predation risk and how it cascades to affect ecosystem nutrient cycling. Moshe lives with his wife, Ayala Shaked, and their three children in Ithaca, NY.
