Naama Reicher is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Bohórquez lab at Duke University, in the departments of Medicine and Neurobiology. Her research is focused sensory cells in the gut that control behavior through synaptic connections to vagal neurons, and the role of gut-brain circuitry on physiological and mental disorders. She conducted her B.Sc. and direct track Ph.D. in Animal Sciences at the Hebrew University, studying early nutrition strategies in chick embryos under the supervision of Prof. Zehava Uni.
