Shiri Kult Perry, Ph.D.

Shiri is a postdoc at Professor Neil Shubin’s laboratory at the Department of Organismal Biology and Anatomy at the University of Chicago. Shiri received her B.Sc from Tel Aviv University and her M.Sc and Ph.D. from Weizmann Institute of Science, working with Profesor Elazar Zelzer. In her current work, she is interested in exploring how evolutionary processes have shaped the mechanisms that regulate tissue development and renewal in amphibians and fish. Shiri is also interested in science/art, history and outreach.
