Yarden Golan, Ph.D.

Regional Manager - San Francisco

Yarden received her Ph.D. in Biology from the Technion. Her study focused on genetic variations in ZnT2 protein, which can cause women to produce zinc deficient human milk. Yarden is currently performing her postdoctoral research at the Ahituv lab at UCSF, where she is aiming to identify genetic and epigenetic factors leading to low human breast milk supply. In addition, she is studying the effect of COVID-19 vaccines on lactation and milk immunity. In her spare time she likes to ride a bike, cook and spend time with family.
