Maya Skubatch, JD, is a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in the Patents and Innovation Group. Over the past 16 years Maya represented both private and public companies and works closely with licensing, litigation, corporate, and regulatory counsel to provide her clients with a holistic IP strategy
Maya received her J.D. degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and B.A in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkley, her first industry job was as a scientist at Genentech in the late 1990’s where she cloned novel genes associated with cancer
Iris Roth Ph. D. is Chief Operating Officer at Kartos Therapeutics, a privately held startup with a clinical-stage MDM2 inhibitor in development for hematology and oncology indications. Prior to joining Kartos, Iris held variety of cross-functional leadership roles in biotech and pharma, including VP, Global Medicine Leader and Head of Project & Portfolio Management at AstraZeneca; VP, Project Leader at MyoKardia; and Head of Pipeline Business Strategy, Oncology at Genentech.
Iris received Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from UCSF, her first industry role was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Genentech.
Noam Frey, MD, MBA is Vice President, Pharmacovigilance and Medical Affairs at Jazz Pharmaceutical where he oversees all the drug safety, medical affairs, and scientific affairs activities relating to the company 5 marketed products and investigational activities in the company’s therapeutic areas of interest (Sleep/CNS and Hematology-Oncology). Over the past 16 years Noam had been involved in medical product communications, activities to ensure safe use and risk mitigation, building successful medical teams and leading R&D strategic and executional excellence.
Noam received his MD degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel, and his MBA from the Executive program at the University of Washington, Seattle, his first role in the industry was Field Medical Science Liaison at ICOS Corporation.
