Position Overview:
Alpha Tau Medical is a leading innovator in the field of cancer treatment, with a primary focus on the research, development, and commercialization of Alpha DaRT (Diffusing Alpha-Emitters Radiation Therapy). At Alpha Tau Medical, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of cancer therapy. We have established collaborations with over 55 prominent cancer centers worldwide, where we are actively conducting clinical and preclinical trials to validate and refine the use of Alpha DaRT in real-world clinical settings.
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Translational research and immunology specialist that will be responsible for hands on execution of translational and preclinical mechanistic immunological research under the supervision of the preclinical and translational research director. The ideal candidate will have vast experience in cancer immunology in preclinical studies and in immune biomarkers in clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute translational research focusing on immune biomarkers
- Perform cancer immunology assays in the laboratory including flow cytometry , IHC, multiplex cytokines assays
- Quantify and analyze the experimental data
- Perform advanced assays such as TCR profiling, spatial transcriptomics
- Participate in composing SOPs, scientific documents and publications
Qualifications:
- PhD in life science in the field of cancer and immunology– must
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) in translational and clinical trials biomarkers research – must
- High level expert in immunology methods including IHC, flow cytometry, Multiplex cytokines assays – must
- Experience in cancer models in vivo (mice) and in vitro – must
- Experience in preparation of clinical samples- must
- Imaging analysis and quantification- must
- Data analysis and statistical methods – must
- PCR, RT-PCR, Elisa- must
- Publications- first author – must
- TCR profiling, RNA seq, scRNAseq, spatial transcriptomics – advantage
- Bioinformatics – advantage
- Experience in GLP studies – advantage
