Postdoctoral Position (Theoretical/Computational Biophysics)

Website Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva, Israel

We study fundamental molecular principles of how proteins recognise genomic DNA in living cells. Using basic ideas of statistical physics, we aim to reveal how physical interactions between biological molecules translate into the biological functionality.

We invite excellent candidates with theoretical (bio)physics or statistical/condensed-matter physics backgrounds, who are fascinated by biological systems and who want to learn more about molecular biology in order to apply their knowledge to this field.
