A leading deep-tech company in central Israel is looking for an R&D Researcher to join a strong and experienced research team.
This role involves hands-on research, experimental work, data analysis, and development of complex technologies in a multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct research and investigations across various scientific and technological fields.
Study and optimize physical processes, materials, and system parameters to improve performance, quality, and cost.
Design, perform, analyze, and summarize experiments involving multidisciplinary findings.
Share technical insights with relevant stakeholders, including research, engineering, and management teams.
Translate product and business needs into engineering and research requirements based on theory, experiments, and data.
Develop and improve quantitative measurement methodologies to support research questions and decision-making.
Build physical models to characterize complex systems, understand key mechanisms, and define critical parameters.
Requirements
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics, Chemical Physics, or a related field.
Strong experimental and analytical skills.
Experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing experiments.
Strong data analysis skills, preferably using Python or MATLAB.
Independent, organized, and proactive, with a broad perspective and can-do attitude.
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Advantages

3 to 5 years of experience as a researcher or engineer in a multidisciplinary environment.
Experience developing physical or computational models.
Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or another technical language.
