Responsibilities:
Leading the bioengineering team in developing and optimizing 3D cell-based production processes.
Developing and implementing research strategies to advance the science of tissue engineering and cultured meat.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings.
Stay current with the latest developments in tissue engineering and apply new technologies to advance our cellular agriculture bioengineering platform.
Develop, standardize, and execute mechanical and biological tests of biological processes.
Evaluating and adopting lab practices and methods.
Writing scientific reports and procedures.
Qualifications:
A Ph.D. degree in material science/Biomedical/Biotechnology engineering.
A practical experience in research and development of tissue engineering, cultured meat, 3D, or similar industry- an advantage.
Experience with biocompatible polymeric materials and composites
A practical experience with scaffold fabrication and characterization methods for 3D tissue engineering.
Skilled in animal cell culture.
Proven ability to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings.
A flexible, independent, and disruptive thinker with a diverse perspective
A “can-do” attitude. Strong motivation.
Functions well in a team environment as well as working individually.
