Tenure Track Faculty Position in Neuroscience

The Sagol Department of Neurobiology at the University of Haifa, Israel invites candidates to apply
for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Neuroscience. We are seeking candidates in the broad
field of Neuroscience, including experimental and computational neuroscience. Individuals with two
or more years of postdoctoral experience and a strong publication record are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates are expected to engage in independent research funded by external competitive
funding, in graduate students’ instruction, and in academic teaching at the graduate and undergraduate
levels.
The position start date is October 1, 2025.

• A cover letter (1 page)
• A complete resume including a list of publications
• A research statement summarizing previous achievements and detailing future research plans
(3‐5 pages)
• A teaching statement describing previous teaching experience and detailing teaching interests
(1-2 pages)

Three letters of recommendation, including one from the Ph.D. supervisor and one from the post-
doctoral supervisor, should be addressed and sent directly to Prof. Wagner.
