The Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Haifa is pleased to invite applications for
an open-rank tenure-track position, with a preference to the fields of Finance, at the School
of Business Administration, pending budgetary approval.
Haifa School of Business Administration is a vibrant, diverse, collegial, and interdisciplinary
group of researchers working on theoretical and empirical questions relevant to the fields of
management and business. We are committed to supporting the success of junior members
of the group and exert effort toward this purpose. We are seeking excellent candidates with
the potential to develop a strong research program who are interested in being a part of and
contributing to this productive and collegial atmosphere.
Successful candidates will be expected to publish research in strong peer-reviewed journals,
secure research grants, supervise graduate students, teach in the School’s programs, and
carry on school service. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
This position requires a PhD in business administration, finance, or related fields; a history
of peer-reviewed publications; and previous experience submitting and/or obtaining research
grants. International research experience (e.g., collaborations with colleagues abroad) and
Master’s level teaching experience are also desirable.
Knowledge of Hebrew is not required, but successful applicants should be willing to learn
the language, and are expected to teach in Hebrew starting from the fourth year of the
appointment.
