Principle Investigator with expertise in Microbiology and Human Virology
The Investigator will have a PhD and post-doctorate experience with a strong research record. We are seeking an independent investigator who will run a lab in microbiology and virology. This includes but is not limited to host-pathogen interactions and molecular human virology.
Additional qualifications also include a commitment to high-quality teaching and mentorship, an ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds, and the potential to secure external research funding.

Basic Qualifications
Applicants must have a PhD or MD/PhD degree and post-doctorate experience with high-quality publications, a strong research record in the fields described above or related research fields, and a desire to share their knowledge and expertise with colleagues and students in the sciences and medical areas.

3. Curriculum Vitae (According to the academic promotion format of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev). Please include the journal impact factor, rank, and number of citations for each publication.
4. Reviewers’ Bios & Reviewers’ relation to the candidate. A list of references with their names, academic positions, affiliations, and relationship to the candidate (in table format).
5. Publications: The candidate should select some representative recent publications. Priority should be given to papers in which the candidate is the first or last author.
6. Statement of Current and Future Research.
7. Statement of Teaching Philosophy.
Minimum Number of References Required:
For the rank of Senior Lecturer: 5 References, at least 2 “independent” and at least 2 from institutions abroad.
