SuperMeat is looking for a creative and independent cell culture biologist with an open mind to adapt and improvise in a novel and dynamic R&D environment. The job includes culturing, maintaining, monitoring and analyzing different pluripotent stem cells and down stream cell types. The job also includes adaptation of animal cell lines to various growing and culturing conditions. To do so, different molecular techniques need to be applied, hence an ability to work independently in an experimental design, execution and optimization set up is required. Responsibilities will also include formulating culture media compositions, analysis of different culture parameters, monitoring of changing conditions and routine lab duties.

Job Requirements:  rnMSc or PhD in biology, bioengineering, biotechnology, biochemistry or a related field.rnIndustry experience in stem cell biology, cell culture, specifically of mammalian and/or avian cells (Preferred).rnExperience in stem cells culturing and differentiation protocols (Preferred).rnPrior experience with various molecular biology technics including RNA/protein isolation, rt-PCR, and planning and executing genetic engineering of cells.rnStrong planning and execution skills of experimental designs and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.rnStrong written and oral communication skills.rnAn inquiring mind, intense curiosity, and strong desire to innovate.
