Daria Bassat Riabov, Ph.D.

Daria is a Research Assistant at the Institute of Molecular Pathology in Vienna, Austria.
She is working on cryo-EM analysis of the spliceosome, focusing on its interactions in vivo.
She has B.Sc in Biology from Tel Aviv university, M.Sc and PhD from Weizmann institute of Science. During her Phd she studied protein degradation in the Ubiquitin-Proteasome system.
Additionally, during her time in the Weizmann Institute she founded the Female Students Forum in the Faculty of Biology.
Daria Lives in Vienna with her husband, Elad Bassat, who is a postdoc in the Institute of Molecular Pathology, and their son.
