Raz Bar-Ziv, Ph.D.

Raz is an experienced scientist and team leader, currently serving as the Head of Cells & Media Development at Believer Meats (previously Future Meat), a lab-grown meat company located in Rehovot. He performed his postdoc at the Molecular Cell Biology department at UC Berkeley, working on aging, and gained his PhD in Systems Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Previously, he was ScienceAbroad’s regional manager in UC Berkeley, and initiated and organized ScienceAbroad’s Symposia series and SuperGroups seminar series.
