Regional Manager - NYC Columbia

Tal is an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University in the city of New York, studying cell death mechanisms and drug discovery for cancer therapeutics. Her research focuses on a novel non-apoptotic regulated cell death mechanism recently discovered in her lab, termed ferroptosis. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies, she has worked as a researcher in Tel-Aviv University as a joint student in two laboratories specialized in cancer cell and membrane biology. She worked on understanding various molecular mechanisms controlling TGF-β superfamily signaling and receptor trafficking in cancer cells, affecting tumor growth and progression.
