Tal is a postdoc research fellow at the lab of Prof. Dr. Joachim L Schultze at the Limes institute, University of Bonn, Germany. Tal studies the interaction of enviornmental factors, such as diet and metbolism, on the immune system using advanced technologies, such as single-cell analysis of the transcriptome (single-cell RNA-sequencing) together with bioinformatic approaches.Tal holds a B.Sc. at biomedical sciences from Tel-Aviv University, and completed her M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where she studied immune-system modulation in obesity. Tal is highly interested in multi-disciplinery research, a passion she brings into the task of setring up the first ScienceAbroad branch in Rhineland Germany. Tal lives in Bonn, a quite rural-urban city on the Rhine, with her husband and 2 cute little boys.
