Ofek Peretz, Ph.D.

Ofek Peretz is a postdoctoral associate at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University, working in the Organic Robotics Lab under the guidance of Prof. Robert Shepherd. His research interests include soft robotics, micro-combustion, and wave energy harvesting. Ofek earned his PhD from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where he studied the interaction of multistable structures with low Reynolds number fluidic flows. He lives in Ithaca, NY, with his wife, Neta Yaari, and their two children, Rotem and Assaf.
