Bar-Ilan University Tenure Track Position – The Department Of Criminology

The Department of Criminology, Bar Ilan University invites relevant candidates to submit an

 

application for a tenure track research position at the level of lecturer or senior lecturer. Priority

 

will be given to candidates whose research interests explore novel and under-represented topics

 

within the faculty’s existing areas of expertise, such as penology, the criminal justice system,

 

cybercrime, and related fields.

 

The successful applicant will have:

 

➢ Degrees in criminology, psychology, sociology, education, social work, brain sciences or related

 

fields

 

➢ Post-doctoral research, preferable from outside Israel.

 

➢ A proven record of excellence in research (e.g. publications in international peer-reviewed

 

journals, grants, prizes, post-doctorate)

 

➢ Teaching experience is an advantage

 

➢ Ability to integrate and work in a team

 

 

 

Candidates must be fluent in Hebrew at a level sufficient for teaching.
