Tenure track position at the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences

We are looking for candidates with a Ph.D. in nursing or health-related sciences, as well as Post-doctoral training. Experience with external collaborations in teaching and research; personal qualities, such as sensitivity, interpersonal communications, initiative, and teamwork skills.

 

The candidate is expected to establish and maintain externally funded research in the Department of Nursing at Ben-Gurion University, and achieve international recognition via herhis research and publications. In addition, responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Nursing, advising MN., and Ph.D students. Excellence in research and teaching are both expected. The candidate will be asked to teach courses based on the departmental needs, which include, but are not limited to: research methods, health assessment and caring, aspects of patient’s compliance, health informatics, health promotion, nursing management. The candidate should constantly update their knowledge and expertise and transmit this knowledge to the students. General duties include the involvement in the department and university community, and participating in Faculty committees.
