The Department of Clinical Biochemistry & Pharmacology at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, is seeking candidates for a full-time tenure-track faculty position. Successful candidates will be expected to provide leadership in education and research, preferably in the disciplines of biochemistry or pharmacology, and to establish an active and independent research group.
Candidates should demonstrate outstanding PhD and postdoctoral training with excellent peer-reviewed publication record, as well as evidence of competitive funding potential, and high-quality teaching skills in Hebrew and English. The department and faculty offer a vibrant, highly collaborative, and constantly growing intellectual environment that span the entire spectrum from basic to clinical biomedical research. It includes tight associations with clinicians at the Soroka University Medical Center, generous start-up package, modern laboratory space, and state-of-the-art core facilities.

Basic Qualifications
Applicants must have an MD, PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent, expertise in research fields described above or related research fields, and a desire to share their knowledge and expertise with students of the sciences and medical areas.

3. Curriculum vitae. For each publication, please include journal impact factor, rank, and number of citations.
4. Reviewers Bio & Reviewers relation to candidate. A list of referees with their names, academic positions and affiliations. 
5. Publications. The candidate should select a number of representative recent publications. Priority should be given to papers in which the candidate is first or last author.
6. Statement of Current and Future Research.
7. Statement of Teaching Philosophy.

Postdoctoral experience with highest quality publications. Delivery of a Departmental Seminar and meeting with the Dept. Faculty to discuss research plans and needs.
