ITAY&BIOND is expanding and looking to hire a highly talented and motivated individual with a background in developmental neurobiology for an innovative groundbreaking project!
ITAY&BIOND is an innovative biotech startup at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center developing novel groundbreaking technologies using Brain Organoids for drug discovery and development, with a specific focus for Autism Spectrum Disorder indications.

Responsibilities:
• Developing Brain Organoids as a tool for drug discovery.
• Establishing new protocols and assays for Organoids development and characterization
• Performing and leading Reprogramming to iPSC
• Independently plan, perform, and analyze complex experiments
• Time management, experiment planning, execution, reporting and analyzing the results
• Hands on laboratory work

Requirements:
• Ph.D/Post-Doc. in Neurobiology / Developmental biology
• Extensive experience with human iPSC
• Experience with brain organoids – an advantage
• Extensive experience with molecular biology assays
•1-2 years of industry experience – an advantage
• Independent researcher that can plan, conduct, and analyze experimental data, with proven ability for methods development and problem-solving skills.
• A team player with great inter-personal skills, a positive approach that is comfortable with a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English with the ability to write scientific reports and overviews.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
