Education Field Manager
Ella Anghel is a Ph.D. candidate in the Measurement, Evaluation, Assessment, and Statistics Department at the Lynch School of Education in Boston College. She is interested in technology-enhanced assessment, particularly in applying psychological theories and advanced data analysis techniques to inform assessment development and validation. Her dissertation, under the supervision of Dr. Matthias von Davier, focuses on motivation and its association with learning and engagement in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). She completed her B.A. in Psychology and Communication at the University of Haifa and her M.A. in Clinical and School Psychology at the Hebrew University.
Ella has been living in Greater Boston since 2017 with her husband. She loves reading historical fiction novels, exploring New England, and sampling Boston’s culinary scene.
